The world of a professional motocross race was diametrically opposed to what it looks like today; no airline tickets, fancy hotels, 18-wheel semi-trucks, carpeted pits or even much in the way of suspension travel.
Just hard men racing long motos on tracks that today’s riders would refuse to ride on. It was a different world, but in many ways almost identical to the sport we know today.
